TDK presents a filmed version which the grand seigneur of ballet was fortunate enough to create with a cast of young and highly talented dancers: “Creating a new ballet is such an exciting adventure! I have had so much positive feedback from my young dancers. They have made me intensely happy.” The title role was created by Nicolas Le Riche, one of the foremost dancers of today. Famous all over the world for his elegant strength, the beauty of his expression and the musicality of his movements, he has created leading roles for choreographers such as Rudolf Nureyev, Mats Ek and John Neumeier. As Clavigo he dances opposite Clairemarie Osta, a fellow dancer at the Paris Opera Ballett and his wife in real life, who takes the role of his lover Marie.
